Borador
(Border Collie/Labrador Retriever)

The Borador dogs are hybrid dogs and are a result of cross breed between the Border Collie and the Labrador Retriever purebreds. The Borador dogs are agile and active dogs that display the combine set of traits from their parent breeds. They have a wide forehead which tapers into a muzzle and ends in a pointy nose.

 

These cute little dogs are very sweet and love to give and receive love. They are very friendly and active dogs that love to get attention of their family members. They are eager to please their owners and strive to achieve success. 

Color

They typically have black coat with white blaze. 

Coat

The coat is short but shiny and needs normal maintenance.

Personality

These dogs are curious, eager to please and very friendly. They get along very well with other pets in the family. They develop a bonding with their human family making them a great family dog. They are not barkers but will alert the family if they sense something is amiss. They are very good family pets.

Care

The Boradors require occassional grooming. Their coat is odour free and does not mat. 

Training

They are intelligent dogs and learn quickly. Training them is not difficult. They learn new tricks easily.

Activity

These dogs love to play and run so regular walking and playing sessions are necessary for them. They love to swim and play fetching games.

i would disagree about the size. i have a borador and aparently he takes after the lab side at six months he was 55 lbs and not fat, all muscle. now at a year he towers over our other dog a border colie
