GENERAL
The Arubian Cunucu Dog is a pariah type of breed which literally means cast off. The origin of this breed is not well known and does not have a specific dog standard. They are believed to be primitive and the result of random breeding in Aruba. They have a characteristic of a standard pariah type of breeds, having a moderately built body, a wedge shaped head with large pricked ears and a curled tail that curls tightly over the back. They can also be found in ranges of all sizes and have currently no specific look that breeders of the Arubian Cunucu Dog are looking for.

COLOR
They come in black, tan and white, red and white, tan and black.

COAT
The coat of this breed is short, smooth, dense hair and is slightly hard to touch.

PERSONALITY
The Arubian Cunucu Dog is a happy, affectionate, energetic and intelligent dog breed. They are very sweet, versatile and like to play with an active owner as they are being active themselves. They will need a lot of attention from their owner. They can also get along well with children and other dogs provided that they are given proper training.

CARE
They are very easy to take care and will only need minimal grooming and brushing maintenance as they shed very little to none.

TRAINING
They are an intelligent breed and can easily be trained. They will need a firm, fair and consistent trainer for best results of training. They do not response best with harsh training, however they will surely cooperate with positive reinforcement. Early socialization and obedience training at puppyhood is recommended as puppyhood or by the moment they get home.

ACTIVITY
These breeds can live in an apartment dwelling life as long as they are provided with enough exercise they needed. Moderate exercise routines are needed for these breeds to burn out their energies and tire them out. They are normally active indoors and loves to play a lot. They will need to be taken outdoors for brisk walks or runs. A large space or small yard can be good for them.
