The Australian Retriever is a loving dogs and make for a great family dog. They loves being around with people and enjoys when they get the attention they needed. These breeds can do well with children around and even with other pets, especially those that have been raised with them. They are affectionate, playful, energetic and make a good family companion.
The Australian Retrievers are moderate shedders. They will require regular brushing or grooming to maintain their good looking coat. Bathing should be done when necessary using mild soap, not to damage the skin and cause allergies.
