The Boweimar is a cross between the Boxer and Weimaraner. They are not best when left alone because they are prone to separation anxiety. They likes to eat anything and everything when they get bored. Nevertheless, they are good family dogs.
The coat of this breed can be black, brown and white in color. Most of them come in black with some of the white spot that is characteristic of the Boxer.
The Boweimar has a short coat.
Some of the Boweimars are extremely hyper and experience major separation anxiety issues, hence they are not best when left alone. Crate training is recommended. They are eager to please and are friendly to everyone.
This breed is a light shedder and is very easy to groom.
This breeds are intelligent dogs and very easy to train. Early obedient training and socialization is recommended.
A combination of a Boxer and Weimaraner makes a very hyper and full energy and eager to please breeds. Plenty of walks would be ideal and a fenced in back yard should be a requirement. Because of their high energy, it is recommended to train them to do agility courses, Frisbee or any other activity that requires large amounts of running.
