The Bull Jack is a mix between a Bulldog and a Jack Russell Terrier purebreds. They are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds.
They are medium size dogs with great personality. They are very active and but docile and trainable dogs that are good for all family members. They are loving, caring and lively dogs that will need fair amount of exercise to relieve their excess energy.
They are found in different colours like white, black, fawn and red or any mix of these colours.
They can have short and sleek coat of a Bulldog or a broken coat (half smooth half harsh) of a JRT. Grooming needs vary with type of coat.
The Bull Jack dogs are loving and gentle to their family but suspicious and wary of strangers. They are alert and will make very good watch dogs. These dogs love human company and will try to be around them. They are good and gentle with children and other dogs and pets in the family if proper training is provided from puppyhood.
They are very good pets to have as family and watch dogs.
Care should be taken when exercising these dogs as they may have a compromised breathing system of a Bulldog.
They are stubborn and willful to some extent. This makes them a little difficult to train. A firm and patient trainer should be able to train these dogs with consistent training.
JRTs are very active while Bulldogs are laid back. Their combination can give birth to a hybrid who can take after any of the parent breed with respect to energy levels and activities. These dogs can be very active or they can be moderately active. What ever the case may be, they will need daily walks to remain fit and content.
