BREED DETAILS

GENERAL
The Cava-lon is a hybrid of Purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and purebred Papillon. They are small size dogs. They are available in several colours and are good family pets.

COLOR
They are found in black, black and tan, brown, white, silver and red.

COAT
Their coat can be long and silky.

PERSONNALITY
These dogs are cheerful, social and alert to their surroundings. They are good with children and make good family dogs. They need moderate levels of activity to consume their energy. They love to be with their family members and owners. They are cheerful little dogs that attract attention when they are around.

CARE
The coat of this dog will need moderate brushing at least twice per week. Grooming is also needed to maintain its good looking coat. Bathing should be done when necessary, using a mild soap to prevent skin irritations and possible allergies.

TRAINING
This breed is highly intelligent and very easy to train. They can be trained in a gentle manner, consistent and repetitive. Trainer must be with firm hand, fair and knows how to approach with positive reinforcement.

ACTIVITY
They will need to be taken out to daily walks to burn off their energy. They are normally active indoors and are very playful. However, they don't require excessive exercises because they can be tired out from a long day of entertaining their owners.
