GENERAL
The Chesador is a hybrid dog that is produced by cross breeding of Cheaspeake Bay Retriever and Labrador Retriever purebreds. They are large dogs having lean and muscular body, build of a retriever and long floppy ears. They have webbed- padding which helps them to swim in water. They are very good hunting and sporting dogs as well as very good family pets. They can weigh from 55 to 80 pounds.

COLOR
They are found in many different colours. Most common colouring for these dogs are shades of yellow, black and brown.

COAT
The Chesadors have thick, coarse and shiny coat.

PERSONALITY
They are very good sporting and hunting dogs that can be very good family and companion dogs as well. The Chesadors will require early training and socializing for them to become a good family pet. They love to spend their time outdoors so they need large space for their running and playing activities. They are very strong dogs who can survive extreme conditions pretty well. They are gentle with children and other dogs and pets in the family.

CARE
Their coat sheds all year. They require normal brushing and grooming.

TRAINING
The Chesadors are very intelligent dogs and will learn fast but it is important that their training should start at puppyhood as they may become willful and even stubborn if not trained properly.

ACTIVITY
These large dogs love outdoor activities like hunting, swimming, retrieving and running. They would require large open spaces to play.
