GENERAL
The Chorkie is a hybrid dog breed. It is a mix between a Chihuahua and a Yorkshire Terrier purebreds. They are refereed to as hybrid dogs. They are small size dogs weighing around 8-15 pounds. They may have long or short legs and a small body. Their ears are longish and pointy. They are very loving, affectionate, lively, active, bubbly, goofy type of dogs that are loved by every one in the family.

COLOR
They are found in gray, white, brown, black, tan and red colours.

COAT
They have long coat that can be soft or coarse.

PERSONALITY
The Chorkie dogs are happy and fun dogs. They are very loyal and protective of their family. Due to their protective instinct, they may show aggressive behavior towards strangers. They are very social dogs and like to be with their owners most of the time. They make great companion dogs. They may not be suitable around small children. They do not like to be stared and may respond by snapping. They become easily afraid. Early socialization is necessary to curb this behavior. They are good with older children.

CARE
Due to their protective nature, they should be on a leash when taking them outside in a park. They may show aggressive behavior towards strangers.
