The Cierny Sery is a large and imposing dog that has recently originated in Slovakia. The dog has been developed by cross breeding of Belgian Shepherds, German Shepherds and Schnauzers. The purpose was to develop a multi-talented dog that can assist in various tasks for its masters.
It is a natural looking large dog with a height of 23-26 inches and weighs between 55-66 pounds. It has erect ears that are set high and are narrow. Eyes are almond shaped. Neck is strong and muscular. Over all body structure gives impression of strength and agility. The dog has thin, profuse but not over done, hard double coat that comes in three hair varieties. The dog is elegant and balanced in appearance.
It is NOT recognized by AKC or any other major Kennel club.
