The Crested Cavalier dog is a mix breed dog. It is a result of a mix between a Chinese Crested and a Cavalier king Charles purebreds. These dogs are called hybrid dogs. They are small size dogs standing between 9 to 13 inches and having weight in the range of 10-18 pounds. Since they are a mix breed dogs, their characteristics can be judged by studying their parent breeds. A comparative study of parent breeds show that these hybrids should be alert, cheerful and social dogs. They can have black, black and tan and red colouring and their coat can be fine and silky.
