The Doxie-Pin is a cross between a Dachshund and a Miniature Pinscher purebreds. They are called hybrid dogs because they originate from two different pure breeds. They are small size dogs having features of both the parent breeds. They are alert, independent, loyal and social dogs. These dogs are stocky, short-legged dogs having button shaped eyes. They have a lean body with tail sometimes docked. They are found in many colours and having short, fine or wiry coat.
They are found in different colours like black, black and tan, brown and red.
The Doxie-Pin dogs have short or medium coat that is fine and wiry.
They are loving dogs with even temperament. They get along very well with all the family members and are specially good with children. They love to play most of the time. Their alertness makes them good watchdogs. These dogs are very playful and very active. They are good pets for families with or without children.
They are low maintenance dogs and would require occasional bathing when needed.
They are easy to train dogs and would love to learn new tricks. Their training can be made very positive with love and food reward reinforcements.
Being very active and high energy dogs, these cute little dogs will require lots of exercise in the form of walks and playing opportunities.
