GENERAL
The Doxiemo dogs are a result of cross breeding between two different pure breed dogs namely a Dachshund and an American Eskimo. The resultant dogs are called hybrid or designer dogs. These hybrids are alert, courageous, loyal, social and intelligent. They are found in different colours. Their coat is fine and wiry. They are small to medium size dogs, not standing more than 19 inches and weighing between 20-40 pounds.

COLOR
They are found in a variety of colours. Some common colours for these hybrids are black, black and tan, brown, gray, red and white or a mix of any of these colours.

COAT
Their coat is low shedding and it is fine and wiry.

PERSONALITY
These dogs make good family pets as they are loving and intelligent. They are eager to please their owners and love to be around their family most of the time. They are good with all ages but have the tendency to attach themselves with one member of the family. They will still be good to other family members. These dogs are good with small children and pets in the house although they should be supervised when around children. They are alert and will caution the family of any unusual happening around them. They make good pets for all the family.

CARE
They require moderate grooming.
