They are gentle and loving dogs who want to be with their owner most of the time. They are gentle and even tempered dogs that make good family pets.

COLOR
The English Boodle dogs are found in black, black and tan, red and white colouring or a mix of these colours.

COAT
The coat length is short. The coat can be wavy and curly or it can be silky and straight.

PERSONALITY
The English Boodle dogs are considered to be gentlest of dog breeds. They are loving, affectionate and social dogs. They are very family oriented and do not like to be left alone for longer time periods. They are very good with children and love to play with the,. They also get along well with other dogs and pets in the family. These dogs usually attach themselves to their owner, still they are equally good and well behaved towards other family members. They are alert dogs and will caution the owner of a stranger.

CARE
Their poodle like coat will require frequent grooming and brushing. They will also need to be trimmed or clipped regularly to keep their coat luxurious.

TRAINING
They may show stubborn behavior which should be dealt with firm, patience and consistent training. They will not respond to harsh training methods.

ACTIVITY
These hybrids may or may not enjoy outdoor activity as much as some other dog breeds. They have parent breeds that are totally opposite to each other when it comes to walking or playing. While Poodles love to go outside, the Bulldogs are not as keen. The resultant hybrid can be a Poodle or a Bulldog temperament.
