BREED DETAILS

GENERAL
The Eskifon is a cross between an American Eskimo and a Brussels Griffon purebreds. They are called hybrid dogs. These hybrids are small size dogs with characteristics and features of both parent breeds. The Eskifon stand no more than 18 inches and their weight ranges from 15 to 30 pounds. They are found in various colours and their coat is either corded or dense, short, rough and wiry or a mix of these two. The Eskifon dogs are alert, intelligent, cheerful, loyal and sometimes independent dogs. They are good with all ages and make very good family pets.

COLOR
The Eskifon dogs are found in different colours like black, black and tan, red, brown, gray and white or brindled.

COAT
They can have either corded coat like that of an American Eskimo or short, rough, wiry like a Brussels Griffon.

PERSONALITY
The Eskifon dogs are brave, loyal and very family oriented. They may attach themselves more with one person in the family but will be good with the rest. They like to be around their family most of the time. These dogs need early socialization training so they can get along well with small children. They are alert and attentive to their surroundings and make good family pets.

CARE
These dogs will require moderate grooming and average maintenance.

TRAINING
These hybrids are intelligent enough to be trained easily but they may show occasional independent behavior and become stubborn. Considering their sensitive nature, they should be dealt with gentle but consistent and rewarding training sessions.

ACTIVITY
These dogs need daily walks.
