The Foodle dogs are a mix between a Poodle and a Toy Fox Terrier purebreds. They are called hybrid or designer dogs as they originate from two different pure breeds. The Foodles are small in size and weigh not more than nine (9) pounds when fully grown. They have small body with long and slender legs. Their ears are long and hang down the size of their head. Nose and eyes are dark. They have a heavily feathered tail. These dogs are active, lively and loyal to their family. They make good family pets.
Colors for Foodles are black, black and tan and white or a mix of these colors.
They can have a dense or short and fine coat.
The Foodles are very active, lively and loyal dogs. They may tend to attach themselves with one person in the family but will still be very good pets for the whole family. They would need early socialization and obedience training to get along well with other small pets in the family specially birds as Foodles have the Poodles' built-in marking and hunting traits. They are very good and gentle with children however, supervision is necessary. The Foodles are alert to their surroundings and can make good watch dogs. They are very good family pets overall.
These dogs would need average grooming and maintenance.
Foodles are easy to train as both parent breeds are intelligent. They can learn to perform new tricks but would need innovative training sessions as they tend to become bored easily with repetition of similar tricks and can become stubborn.
They are highly active and lively dogs and would need lots of exercise and playing opportunities to keep themselves happy and fit.
