The Goberian dogs are a result of cross breeding between a purebred Siberian Husky and a purebred Golden Retriever. They are called hybrid or designer dogs because they originate from two different pure breeds. The Goberian dogs are alert, intelligent and social. They are medium size dogs, standing up to 24 inches and weighing around 75 pounds. They are generally obedient dogs that do well as family pets provided proper socialization and obedience training is given.
These hybrids are found in different colours. Some common colours for these dogs are black, gray, red, white and yellow.
The Goberian dogs sport a double coat. The outer coat is longer and straight or slightly wavy while the inner coat is soft and dense. This coat keeps these dogs from extreme cold or hot weather.
The Goberian dogs are friendly, loyal, alert and intelligent dogs that love human companionship. These dogs are eager to please and generally obedient. They are good with children and other dogs and pets in the family but do need early socialization. These dogs are very active and need lots of room to run and relieve their energies. They may not suit apartment life and would ideally need a fence yard to play. They are very loyal to their family but have a tendency to attach themselves with one person. They will still be friendly towards rest of the family. They are alert and wary of strangers and can make good watch and guard dogs. These dogs are excellent for active families.
They are low shedding dogs and would require normal brushing and average maintenance.
They are intelligent dogs but can be independent occasionally. They may need gentle and rewarding training sessions and daily obedience training. They are not as easy to train as some other dog breeds.
These dogs are very active and have high energy levels. They would need lots of exercise opportunities to relieve their energy.
