The Griffonese is a mix between a purebred Brussels Griffon and a purebred Pekingese. They are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds. The Griffonese dogs are small in size with a height of 9 or less and weight around 8-14 pounds. They are cute little dogs that display characteristics and features of both parent breeds. They are alert, cheerful, intelligent and loyal dogs. They are found in different colours. These dogs are good family and watchdogs.

COLOR
They are found in different colours. Common colours for these dogs are black, black and tan, brown, red and white or any mix of these colours.

COAT
Their coat is rough and medium in length.

PERSONALITY
The Griffonese dogs are very cheerful, friendly, affectionate and eager to please. These dogs are very gentle and patient with children and other dogs and pets in the family. These hybrids are eager to please their owners and love their company. They like to spend most of their time with their family and make very good companion dogs. They are intelligent and obedient dogs that are easy to train. These dogs are alert and attentive to their surroundings and will caution their family of any approaching stranger. They are good watchdogs and great family pets.
