GENERAL
The Jackie-Bichon is a mix of a purebred Jack Russell Terrier with a purebred Bichon Frise. They are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds. The Jackie-Bichon is a small dog that can have a height of up to 15 inches and weight around 13 pounds. They have a fluffy coat that is white or cream. Black and tan markings anywhere on the body is seen.

COLOR
The Jackie-Bichon is found mostly in white colour although some dogs are also seen in cream and white mix.

COAT
They have a fluffy coat that is low shedding.

PERSONALITY
The Jackie-Bichon dogs are lively, alert and brave. They are fear-less, obedient and devoted dogs that love their family. They have independent nature but with proper training, these dogs are very easy to live with. They are very good and friendly with small children and other dogs and pets in the family.These dogs have high energy and need lots of physical activities. They are alert and attentive to their surroundings and will make good watch dogs. These dogs are very good family and companion pets.

CARE
They should not be allowed to take over the owner. They are very cute and amusing little dogs that can develop Small Dog Syndrome, a human induced behavior where the dog tries to take over as the pack leader.

TRAINING
The Jackie-Bichon dogs are very intelligent and easy to train. Some Jackie-Bichons may show stubborn behavior during training and would need to be dealt with firm and consistent training routines and trainer establishing himself as true pack leader.

ACTIVITY
They are very active dogs that need ample amount of exercise and physical stimulation. If proper exercise is not provided to these dogs, they may become destructive and indulge in undesirable behavior such as nipping, biting, barking.
