The King Cavrin is a cross between a purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a purebred Cairn Terrier. These dogs are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds. The King Cavrin is a small dog that stands up to 13 inches and weigh around 18 pounds. These hybrids resemble more to a Cavalier in facial features but have characteristics of both parent breeds. The King Cavrin dogs are loving, affectionate and eager to please with high intelligence that make them easy to train. They are good watch dogs but unsuitable as guard dogs due to their social behavior towards strangers.
The King Cavrin is found in different parent colours. They are mostly found in black and tan, gray, red and white or any mix of these colours.
These hybrids can have long and silky coat of a Spaniel or dense, short, fine and rough coat of a Cairn Terrier. The Spaniel coat is moderate shedding with average grooming requirements while the Cairn Terrier coat is no shedding with brushing required.
The King Cavrin dogs are loving, happy and affectionate. They are good with all ages and specially with children and enjoy playing with them.
