BREED DETAILS

GENERAL
The Papijack hybrid is a mixed breed developed from the Papillon and the Jack Russell Terrier breeds. Energetic and smart dogs, they are pretty easy to train. They are loving, devoted and happy dogs. You may think they are small in size but they are courageous from their hunting and watchdog skills.

COLOR
This breed's colors are usually dominated by white with either black or brown in markings. Much like it's predecessor's colors.

COAT
Depending on their length of coat they inherited from their parents, their coat needs to be brushed on a regular basis.

PERSONNALITY
The Papijack breed is smart, loving, loyal and happy dog. Make sure that they do not become pack leaders of their family as this may lead to behavioral problems in the future.

CARE
The breed's coat requires a maintenance of regular grooming to keep them looking good and hygienic. Bathing or dry shampooing should be done as often as needed. Their predecessor's health issues should always be watched out for as hybrids tend to inherit them.

TRAINING
The Papijacks are smart dogs making them easy to train as long as the training is done consistently, gently and repetitive. Housetraining and obedience training should be taken more seriously as these are the areas they could be problematic with.

ACTIVITY
The Papijack breed is a small dog that would probably require a little more exercise than regular dogs. Indoor playing and exercise is normally enough work out but their walking and sniffing instincts would need to be satisfied.
