The Pom-A-Pug breed is not a pure breed dog. Sometimes called hybrid or designer breeds, the dogs were developed from half Pomeranian and half Pug breeds. Other names they are called are Pug-A-Pom, Pomapug, Pugapom, Pugpom, Pug-Pom, Pompug, Pom-Pug and Pugeranian.
This dog is very protective, loving and playful. It is a great family dog as they get along well with kids as well as other house pets. They may not bark often but they are wonderful watchdogs even if they are small in size.
They tend to over eat and this could lead to health issues if not controlled. For their small size and smooth coated hair, these dogs are pretty easy to groom. Bathe only when it is necessary.
