The Pomapoo dog breed is a hybrid or designer breed. This breed is developed from a cross between a Pomeranian and a Poodle breed. Other names of this breed include Pooranian, Pomeroodle, Pom-A-Poo, Pom A Poo and Poopom. This breed is originated from the United States. The Pomapoos are naturally loving, affectionate and great with children as well as other pets making them perfectly suitable as a family pet. These dogs are very smart and very eager to please their masters which make them highly trainable for tricks. Depending on the length of coat they inherited from their parents, their grooming can prove to be a challenge. It needs to be kept looking good and tangle-free always. This dog is hypoallergenic making them perfect for families with allergy issues or do not want to deal with dog hair.
This breed's coat color is highly dependent on what color they will inherit from their parents. Colors vary from White, Beige, Red, Orange, Apricot to Brown, Brindle, Fawn and Black.

These dogs are highly intelligent and are fairly straightforward to train. They can easily learn a lot of tricks and are easy to housebreak. They tend to be possessive and protective of their humans making early obedience training and proper socialization pretty crucial. A firm, consistent, calm, assertive humans around this dog should make training a successful one.

They are highly active although they are not built for vigorous exercise. For the high level of their energy, they most likely need a playmate around. Their playful nature makes them perfect for little children to have. They should be fine to live in small apartments or in a big family with kids and other household pets. Even with their energetic-self, they can drain their energy indoors and outdoors. However, as dogs, their primal instinct to walk will still need to be fulfilled.
