Snorkies are notoriously loyal, affectionate and charming. They love when they are the center of the attention. They have a great disposition and gets well with children and other animals. They have a build of a Schnauzer with a face of a Yorkie.
Snorkies usually come in black and tan colors similar to their Yorkie parent and may also have a gray mixed in their coat. Sometimes they can be in solid colors like their Schnauzer parent or maybe in multi-colored.
The Snorkie has silky coat that resembles that of the Yorkie but mostly they come in combinations of the two parent.
These breeds are very loyal, obedient and devoted to their family. They are eager to learn and please their owners. They make a wonderful family dog with their friendly personality.
Snorkiess require brushing and grooming a few times a week, although these dogs are non-shedding, seldom brushing will keep their coat good looking. Bathing is recommended when necessary, like keeping their odor down, but not to over bath because they may have skin allergies. They are also picky with their diet so its better to give them proper attention with their food intake.
Snorkies are smart breeds and easy to train. Teaching them wouldn't be so hard because they already have this eager personality of pleasing their owner.
Snorkies are playful, lively and fun-loving breed. These small dogs make perfect for apartment or small sized houses because of their sizes. They would need average exercise so giving them a daily walk and trips to park would be better.
