GENERAL
Texas Heeler is a med-sized vigorous hybrid dogs. It is a mix between Australian Cattle dog and Australian Shepherd dog and as such it is called designer dogs.They can be found in the ranches as cow dogs. As with all hybrid or designer dogs, the Texas Heeler can take after either of the parent or it can have a mix traits from both parents. To determine what is in store for hybrid dogs, it is best to look at characteristics of the parent breeds.

COLOR
Texas Heeler color varies like black, blue merle, or blue-ticked with white and or a light brown color.

COAT
Texas Heeler coats vary greatly from short haired and smooth to medium length. They are weather resistant. This hybrid dog belongs to an average shedder presumably on sex and geography.

PERSONNALITY
The Texas Heeler dog is highly energetic, good for herding and watchdog for the home. They need regular strenuous exercise to set their mind daily. Boredom or lack of exercise can lead them to unsafe behavioral problems. They always excel in agility and herding trainings.

CARE
