BREED DETAILS

GENERAL
The Titan Terrier is a new breed of medium size terrier dogs that is still in the process of development. Currently being developed in Germany and partly in Italy from cross breeding of English Bull Terriers, American Pitbull Terriers and Patterdale Terriers. The aim of developing this new breed is to combine gameness of Patterdale Terriers and American Pitbull Terriers with increased size of Bull Terrier. The dog is strong and agile in appearance. Its head is egg shaped. The coat is short and may come in any colour though preferred colour is dark brindle. Since breed is still in its development phase, not much information is present as yet.

COLOR
The Titan Terrier can come in any colour but dark brindled specimens are more preferred.

COAT
The coat is short, flat and smooth.

PERSONNALITY
The aim of developing this breed is to combine gameness of Patterdale and APBT with increased size of Bull Terrier. The ideal Titan Terrier dog should have even temperament, great hunting skills and less stubborn nature than Bull Terrier. Like their ancestors, these dogs would be aggressive and non-tolerant of other dogs, specially of same sex.

CARE
Short coat requires minimal grooming.

TRAINING
This breed will need early age training and socialization from a firm and confident owner. Though not as stubborn as Bull Terrier, this breed still possess willful and independent nature which calls for positive training.

ACTIVITY
Exercise should be provided to this breed if it is not hunting or doing some other strenuous work. The dog will be calm and content with sufficient amount of exercise, lake of which can lead to destructive behavior from this dog.
