My border collie lived to be 15 yrs 10 months. I got her as a pup when my youngest daughter was born. I trained her in hand signals so when she went deaf at 13 yrs she would still follow commands. She was always great at herding the kids & the joy of being my companion. I will always miss her.

Northumberland is in England near the border with Scotland. Just over the border from England in Scotland, the region is known as the Scottish Borders, hence the border collie name.

we also have fat border collie but he is sadly over wait and has diabeties his name is Gurtrude he is so cuddly but is full of worms. I love him.
