AFGHAN SHEEPDOG

They are very resilient to work but may seem lazy as they save energy for other tasks These dogs generally get on well with other animals provided that they have been introduced to them when young They are rather reserveed towards strangers but there are seldom problems with children from their own family They can be rather dominant towards other dogs It's important to introduce the dog early in its life to its own kind, other animals, and people  

AMERICAN BULLNESE HYBRID

This breed is pleasent, friendly, palyful, good natured clownish and courageous

BELGIAN GRIFFONS

 

Intelligent, non-aggressive and with terrier-like disposition, the Belgian Griffon is a charming and cuddly dog that loves to snuggle and be with its owner The dog attaches itself more with one member of the family more than the others This makes the dog not so suitable as family pet specially for families with little children An emotionally sensitive breed, careful early age socialization is must The Belgian Griffon is also curious, charming and amusing It can learn to perform tricks Very active indoor, the dog is very suitable for apartment life style Alert to its surroundings, the dog makes a very good watchdog

 

The dog has a huge heart and gets along well with other dogs and pets in the family but it may create problem for itself as it can try to dominate a much larger dog than itself  

 

BELGIAN LAEKENOIS

The Laekenois are very intelligent herding dogs who have serious watchful demeanor with passionate protective and territorial instincts Early proper socialization should be provided to these dogs to prevent them from developing excessive shyness which can lead to unwanted behavior in the future They need a firm, patient and consistent training from an experienced dog owner They make great family pets and they thrive on human companionship These dogs love to work They are very suitable as farm dogs, herding dogs and watchdogs

BELGIAN MALINOIS

The Belgian Malinois is a very smart and obedient dog that makes a great police dog These dogs are watchful, alert and loyal with strong protective and territorial instincts They make great guard dogs and are good for working and competition obedience

 

This breed tends to be serious, shy and sensitive Good with children, they make great family pets; they need to be part of the family and can’t be left alone all day or they will find ways to entertain themselves The Malinois always needs to do a job and may display herding behaviors like nipping the people’s heels or circling etc

BELGIAN SHEEPDOG

The Belgian Sheepdog is a very intelligent and obedient dog Devoted, loyal and extremely territorial, this dog is very protective with its family and makes a great guard dog They make excellent alert police dogs, which is their first utility The Belgian Sheepdog is serious, observant and may be shy with some strangers Because of its herding instinct, this dog may try to herd some of the family members by nipping the people’s heels This breed is good with children and will be affectionate and friendly with those it loves Courageous and dominant, it might not get along well with other dogs It’s a possessive dog, but must never show viciousness

BELGIAN SHEPHERD GROENENDAEL

Groenendael is active, loyal, quietly affectionate and an intelligent dog They are not best breeds for the faint of heart However for those who have plenty of time, energy, confidence and love, they are wonderful friends Training and socializing is essential They are wary of strangers and protective They love children as long as they are introduced to them at an early age The Gronendael bonds deeply to its people and cannot live outdoors or in a kennel It needs to spend time with its family every day and may experience separation anxiety if left alone for long periods of time  

BELGIAN SHEPHERD LAEKENOIS

As pets they are devoted companions and do not make ideal kennel dogs, as they become bored and destructive The Laekenois is very affectionate and totally devoted to their families They are not best for inexperienced owners They will protect their home and family but it is not advisable to encourage their guarding instincts when young, as they can get confused and start guarding you in inappropriate situations Their natural guarding instincts will kick in, if and when necessary They can be dominant with other dogs so they must be socialized from an early age  

BELGIAN SHEPHERD TERVUREN

The Belgian Tervuren is a very smart and obedient dog This devoted, loyal and extremely territorial dog is very protective of its family and makes a great guard dog They also make excellent alert police dogs, which they are often used for The Tervuren, serious and watchful, may be shy with some strangers Because of its herding instinct, this dog may try to herd some of the family members by nipping their heels This breed is good with children and will be affectionate and friendly with those it loves Courageous and dominant, it might not get along well with other dogs It’s a possessive dog, but must never show viciousness

BELGIAN SHORTHAIRED POINTER

The now believed to be extinct or near to extinct  breed of the Belgian Shorthaired Pointer lively, high spirited yet very loveable Not much is known about this breed
