AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIER

The American Pit Bull Terriers are good natured, affectionate, amusing and extremely loyal dogs Often mistaken as vicious dogs, their aggressive tendencies in nature are with other dogs and animals, not people Socialization to other pets by a strong, firm, consistent, calm pack-leader, this can be corrected



They are great with children and adults They have a high pain tolerance and could play roughly with children But do not leave them alone with unfamiliar children Full of vitality, they are very brave and intelligent guard dogs Very suitable as watchdogs, they will not think twice fighting an enemy to death They are usually very friendly but they have this mysterious ability to know when they need to protect their family and when to relax

GLEN OF IMAAL TERRIER

The Glen of Imaal is a tough, scrappy dog that has a soft spot for their families They are muscular hunters that are agile, intelligent and tenacious They are hard working and extremely loyal to their owners and have a harsh attitude when it comes to hunting down their prey It is said that the only way these dogs will release their grip from their prey is to force open their jaws! The Glen of Imaal has an intense love for their owners and are affectionate, playful and energetic These dogs will make great family pets or working dogs for people that are looking for a loyal and hardworking breed

 

This dog has an arrogant attitude but it exhibits his character about his confidence They are outgoing and passionate dogs that need an owner who will be able to train, live with, and share their lifestyle with, as these types of dogs need owners who will be willing to go the extra mile with them!

IRISH DANE

The Irish Danes are gentle, loving, affectionate and loyal to their family They are eager to please their owners These dogs are patient and gentle with children Playfull and intelligent, they make good playmates for children  

The Irish Danes are obedient and human loving dogs They want to be with their family most of the time These dogs are easy to train They are not noisy dogs and get along well with other pets in the family They are not aggressive towards strangers but will bark to alert the family of an strangers' arrival

These dogs need high quality food as they grow very fast These dogs would need large space for exercise They may fit into an apartment life but a house with a large yard would be ideal for them

IRISH DOODLE

The Irish Doodles are intelligent, loyal, loving and affectionate dogs These dogs are very good with children and generally get along well with other dogs and pets in the family These dogs are very friendly not only to the family but with guests as well They are clean and easy to housetrain dogs

They are very alert and attentive to their surroundings and will alert the family of an approaching stranger

The Irish Doodles are eager to please and intelligent dogs and not difficult to train However, if Irish Setter character is more dominante, they will need consistant and patient training

These are high energy dogs and want lots of exercise unless Poodle character is dominante which will make these hybrids laid back

The Irish Doodles are very good family pets and companion dogs

IRISH MASTIFF

The Irish Mastiff dogs are gentle, loving and loyal dogs They are easy-going and even-tempered dogs that are very good with children They also get along well with other dogs and pets in the family These dogs bond themselves strongly with their family and are very protective of them  

The Irish Mastiff dogs need to be trained NOT TO JUMP OR LEAN due to their large size and heavy weight They are stand-offish with strangers but mix with them after proper socilization They are not very good watch dogs but can be used as deterrent due to their size

These dogs need lots of room to run but do not need any extra exercise than most other dogs They can fit into an apartment life if ample exercise is provided but they ideally would need a large yard to play and run

IRISH RED AND WHITE SETTER

Irish Red and White Setters are an energetic, intelligent breed They are very affectionate, tend to get along well with other animals and are great with children!

IRISH SETTER

The Irish Setter has boundless energy, very impulsive this dog is full of life Typically Irish with is friendly “sense of humor”, the Irish Setter seem ignoring apparent danger or difficulties, joyous, woozy and stubborn are used to outline this impulsive and lovable breed

 

Good natured, intelligent and very affectionate the Irish Setter enjoy being around people, he is excellent with children and not aggressive towards other dogs, however, due to its boisterous and headstrong personality this breed is not recommended for the average home

IRISH TERRIER

The Irish Terrier is an energetic, fun loving dog that loves to be around their families They have a bit of a temper and can be quite stubborn if a situation doesn’t suit them This breed will be an excellent dog for families but would be best suited if there are no other pets in the household Irish Terriers tend to be a bit more aggressive around other dogs and will consider small pets such as hamsters, mice, and guinea pigs etc prey

 

These dogs are not barkers but have good reason to when they do, making them good watchdogs This breed is not only a great working and family dog, but they will also excel in agility, obedience, and tracking trials

IRISH TROODLE

The Irish Troodles are loyal, courageous and energetic dogs They are eager to please their owners and love to spend time with them These dogs are very good with children and love to play with them

The Irish Troodles are alert to their surroundings and make good watch dogs They are protective of their family and make good companion dogs They are very active and can take part in dog sports like dog agility

They are easy to train with food and toy reward based training

These dogs are good family pets and watch dogs  

IRISH WATER SPANIEL

This breed will need a lot of socialization as a puppy, especially around other dogs and people so when in social situations they will not become timid or aggressive The Irish Water Spaniel is a comical breed that will make a wonderful companion as long as they are raised by an owner who is firm yet fair Training this breed will need to start as soon as they are brought home to ensure they understand what is acceptable in the household and what is not The Irish Water Spaniel is a clever breed and will make a great addition to the right owner or family!

 

These dogs are protective, loyal and independent but still quite affectionate towards their masters People they have never met before will in a sense, not matter unless they are formally introduced to the dog Generally they are a goofy dog that has a charming personality and excellent demeanor This agile and beautiful breed will be a great pet for people that enjoy physical activity or just enjoy the outdoors!
