The African Wild Dog are very social animals that live in packs They fill the ecological role or niche of the wolf in Africa They do not hesitate to attack small hares or large zebras They specialize in preying and they do not hunt in relays but rather depends on endurance that is greater than their prey They can run at about 35 meters per hour for 3 miles or more  

The Africanis dog is friendly, loyal, agile and intelligent It has a natural liking for human companionship This dog is very adaptable and can adjust in most conditions It is friendly, mild mannered, gentle yet sometimes territorial This dog is very trainable It gets along with other dogs very well and generally treats them as part of a pack It can be wary and territorial around unknown people or animals  

The Aidi dog is a faithful, loyal and highly protective dog It is very agile and energetic Its alertness makes it a great watch dog This dog is always ready for action Being a flock guardian, the protective nature of this dog is very visiable Together with its fearless approach to counter any danger, this dog proves to be a very effective protector of its master if a danger arises Thus it makes not only a good watch dog but also a great guard dog that is always alert and ready for action  

Despite its background as sheep and goat flock guardian, the Aidi is very gentle, faithful, loving and friendly with its human family This dog is specially gentle and patient with children It also gets along well with other dogs and pets in the family  

It is a sensitive dog breed that is highly trainable with calm yet firm master The owners should spend time with this dog as it has a tendency to become shy or aggressive if it is not catered well  

Strong sense of smell makes this dog a great companion during hunting This dog needs early age training not to be too aggressive towards unknown people or animal as it has a very strong sense of protecting its family

The Ainu dog is naturally wild and poweful, making it an excellent guard dog Being protective of its owner, the dog is fearless and courageous They have been used as sledge dogs and can withstand extreme cold weather A unique trait of this dog is a built-in sense of direction It can return to its master no matter how great the distance  

Inspite of its wild nature and hunting background, the breed is well behaved and gentle as family pets They are very good with children but early age socialization is necessary This dog should not be let to run free around other animals The owners of this dog need to display proper pack leader skills or this dog can become head-strong  

With proper socialization, this dog is a very good family pet, great watch and guard dog and excellent hunting companion

The Airedale Terrier breed is courageous and protective, infinitely patient and pleasant, this dog is versatile in the extreme then with such multi skilled inheritance he excels at obedience The Airedale Terrier makes a loyal family pet when he feel loved and respected Totally trustworthy with older children (he can be rough for small ones) if they have early exposure and socialization

The Airedale Terrier is not recommended for the average family, this independent, strong-minded and intelligent dog he can be a joy to own, eager to please he learns easily, but he can be difficult at times The Airedale Terrier generally gets along well with household cats and other animals, but it is not recommended that he be kept with another dog of the same sex they sometimes try to dominate them This depends largely upon their training and the individual dog

The Alaskan Husky is affectionate, athletic and very energetic This dog is very fond of people and very social too It is cheerful and playful with children and make great family pet These are clever, easy going and docile dogs that are bred primarily for sled racing They are friendly with other dogs and strangers Due to this reason, they can not be a watch dog

They are good with other dogs but need early age socialization with other pets in the family The Alaskan Husky needs a strong master who can stablish himself as the dog's true packleader Otherwise, these independent dogs can try to become packleader themselves, showing head-strong and  wilfull behaviour  

The Alaskan Husky dogs do not like to be left alone and can become destructive if not attended to for longer time periods It is best to have them in pair with another dog

They are very energetic dogs and keeping up with their energy levels is a full time job

The Alaskan Klee Kai dogs are highly intelligent, curious and very active They are alert and attentive to their surroundings and are naturally wary and suspicious of strangers This makes them excellent watch dogs The dog has high prey drive and needs to be very well socialized and trained to live with smaller animals like cats and rabbits The dog is loving and eager to please its master It can get along well with children if properly trained It does not like being mistreated and is not very tolerant of such activities so the children should be told not to mishandle this dog or it may retaliate by nipping or biting

The dog can live in an apartment but would ideally be suited in a house with a small yard This breed is highly intelligent and can take part in many dog sports like agility and obedience  

This type is gentle, alert ,well mannered, very intelligent and enthusiastic They need a pack leader type owner other wise may become willful They are very sensitive to change in tone
