I miss my japanese chin dog her name was tasha tiny because when we first got her she was so tiny i loved her so much it was hard because i had to give her away and half of the time i was going back and forth with my parents so i didnt see her alot.I had to give her away because we lived in a apartment and they didnt allow pets so we had to sneak tasha in and out if she had to use the bathroom it just didnt work doing that. But we gave her to a good home and if only my apartment allowed pets me and tasha wouldent be apart. I miss her and im never ever ever am going to live in a schemerhorn apt again!

I have a Chin and love him like crazy his name is Domino. As you can guess he is white and black. He is good with the kids but worry of men that includes my husband and brother but he love kids and females. He is almost 5 months old and is doing super on house training only one accident, which was my fault. He love to chew on shoes but not so much dog bones. I am looking for a female Chin do anybody know where I can get one?

We got our japanese chin from a local shelter when he was around a year old. We have never gotten him completely potty trained as he still goes in the house when he feels like it. Any suggestions?

I have two chins, and they are adorable, affectionate
and sweet. Watch the weather when walking—not too
hot out, not too cold. Bring water with between 75 and 85 degrees. Don’t walk when it’s over 85 and they need a coat
under 40 degrees. They also shouldn’t walk even with a coat
if it’s under 20 degrees.

Very true about the training! My Chin Bippo requires lots of extra work with training. But she’s so cute and cuddly that it makes up for her slowness. I love her to pieces and every other Chin I’ve met. A great breed all around!
