We have a 1 1/2 year old American chocolate lab named Eli. He is what everyone has stated. He is full of energy and needs a lot of attention playing ball, sticks, swimming, etc. Eli is a large dog and weighs in at around 90 pounds. He isn’t overweight just really big, and funny, and the best family dog going! He is like having a 4 year old around the house all the time and just full of love.

Labs are awesome. I’ve had 3. They have all been CHEWERS for the first 2 years. My last one ate some Sago Palm seeds when he was 1.5 years old and died horribly. WARNING: Sagos are popular landscape items in the West and super toxic.They will kill your dog. We were really attached to that beautiful dog and will replace him one day.

We had a black lab for 17 years. Died of old age. Hardest thing I have ever been through. His name was Satchmo. It’s been a little over a year since he has been gone. We just started looking for another black lab puppy. His name will be Slater. Can’t wait!

even i loved lab somuch, 10 years ago i had lab after that i groomed boxer for 3 years unfortunate i lossed him . Last week i brought a 40 days yeiiow lab puppi i hope he is my great compainion in feuture

I love my lab so soooooo much we have had her for 8 years and my grand children love her! I am recomending labs to everybody with kids that want a great compainion. ( Just make sure to brush their fur if you get an english lab) We love Jessie and I am sure when you get your lab, you will love her/ him as much as we love Jess.

We have had out black lab Jett for almost ten years now. He is a great family member with tons of energy. He is still often mistaken for a puppy. His favorite thing other than going for a walk is climbing up on the couch and falling asleep with us. He does however still sleep overnight in a kennel he has never been able to settle at night without being in his kennel with his favorite blanket. He loves people more than anything and really needs that human bond. Labs are very loyal dogs that always look out for others.
