The Golden Sammy is a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Samoyed purebreds. These dogs are called hybrids or designer dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds. These dogs are loyal, loving, affectionate, cheerful and friendly. They are medium in size, standing up to 24 inches and weighing around 70 pounds. They are found in different colours. Their coat is dense and water-repellent. They are good dogs to have as family pets.
Common colours for these dogs are red, white and yellow or a mix of these colours.
They have a double coat which is rough and water-repellent on outside and soft and dense from inside.
The Golden Sammy dogs are very friendly, loving, gentle, well-mannered and affectionate. They are very good with all family members and specially children with whom they show very gentle and patient behavior. They are very good playmates for children.
