The Irish Troodle is a mix between an Irish Terrier and a Poodle purebreds. They are called hybrids due to their origination from two different pure breeds.
The Irish Troodle are medium size dogs, standing up to 24 inches and weighing anywhere between 20 to 60 pounds. These dogs are loving, loyal and active. They are intelligent as well as alert and will make good watchdogs.

These hybrids are found in different colours. Common colours for these dogs are black, black and tan, red and white or a mix of these colours.

The Irish Troodles are loyal, courageous and energetic dogs. They are eager to please their owners and love to spend time with them. These dogs are very good with children and love to play with them.
The Irish Troodles are alert to their surroundings and make good watch dogs. They are protective of their family and make good companion dogs. They are very active and can take part in dog sports like dog agility. They are easy to train with food and toy reward based training. These dogs are good family pets and watch dogs.

Their coat is low shedding and low maintenance.

They are intelligent and eager to please dogs that are easy to train. They love to learn new tricks and training them with gentleness will be rewarding.
ACTIVITY
They are very active dogs and would need lots of exercise but if Poodle side is more dominate, they may not be as active as Irish Terrier dominant hybrids.
Either way, a long and preferably brisk walk or jog will do good for these dogs to remain balance and healthy.
