The Kerry Wheaten dog is a mix between a purebred Kerry Blue Terrier and a purebred Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. They are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds.
The Kerry Wheaten dogs are small to medium in size, standing at 20 inches maximum and weighing around 33 to 45 pounds. They are loving, affectionate and highly active dogs. They can fit into an apartment life if their exercise needs are fulfilled although they would ideally need a yard to play.
