The Yugoslavian Hounds is considered an indigenous breed found in the southern region of the former Yugoslavia. They come in two varieties: the Yugoslavian Mountain Hound (Jugoslovenski Planinski Gonic or Planinski) and the Yugoslavian Tricolor Hound (Jugoslovenski Trobojni Gonic). These dog breeds are not well known outside their native land.
They are medium-sized breeds, having a drop ears and long tails. Several coat types and colors are accepted.
