The American Gointer is a cross breed of the English Pointer and the Golden Retriever. They can easily be confused for the yellow Labrador. They have light patches above their shoulders and may have white markings between their eyes. Also their footpads and tip of tail may be white.
They make a very good family pet as they are very loving and caring to their human pack. They are very loving and friendly towards children and other small pets in the family.
