The Malti-Poo is a cross between a purebred Poodle and a purebred Maltese. They are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different parent breeds.
The Malti-Poo dogs are small in size and generally stand up to 14 inches and weigh from 5 to 20 pounds. Their height and weight largely depends on which Poodle is used in the cross; Standard, Miniature or Toy.
These dogs are very gentle and generally possess a sweet disposition. They are intelligent and loyal dogs that offer affectionate companionship. Their coat is generally soft and luxurious, appearing in a variety of colors.
