The Cosheltie is a mix between a Border Collie and a Shetland Sheepdog purebreds. They are medium size dogs standing around 13 to 22 inches and weighing in between 18 to 30 pounds. They are loyal, social, alert, intelligent and responsive dogs that are good with all ages.
They are found in different colours and their coat can be thick and long like a Shetland or corded and dense like a Collie. Either way, the coat is rough and harsh. They are average shedding dogs and would require regular grooming.
