The Jackie-Bichon has a fluffy coat mainly white or cream. Tan, brown or black markings are acceptable and can be any where on the body. Althought the jackie-bichon is mainly white, cream hairs are permitted around the muzzle or eye area. The muzzle should be moderate and not pointed. It has a scissors bite with round dark intelligent eyes and hanging ears that are well covered with hair. The neck is long and the chest is well developed. Its tail is curved over its back.
