The Miniature Schnauzzie is a mix between a Miniature Schnauzer and an Miniature Australian Shepherd purebreds. They are called hybrid dogs due to their origination from two different pure breeds.
The Miniature Schnauzzie dogs are small in size with a maximum height of 18 inches and weight of 15 to 30 pounds. They are docile, affable and gentle dogs with high energy. They are alert and attentive to their surroundings and make good watch dogs. They are found in different colours.
They may show tendency to try and herd people that needs to be checked at an early age. With proper training and necessary socialization, they are good family pets to have.
