The American Bullnese is a small and clownish dog that is known for its love for companionship and ideal temperament as family pet. The dog has a large and square head with large and round eyes. Ears are soft and folded. It has thick neck with loose skin at the throat. The body is low to the ground and is longer than taller. Forelegs are stout and strong while hind legs are firm and shaped. The dog has thick and short coat with dense and soft fur. It can come in any colour. The overall impression is of an active and muscular dog with courage and boldness.
This dog weighs around 18-30 pounds and has height from 10 to 12 inches. This breed is not recognized by AKC although ABA and DRA recognize this dog.
